Our Impact

How the Wealthiest Czechs Travel 2024

In the autumn of 2024, we designed and carried out the second edition of an exclusive survey for the Czech travel agency EliteVoyage, which specializes in high-end tailor-made holidays. The Luxury Travel Report 2024 by EliteVoyage covers 48 pages and describes the travel habits of the wealthiest Czech men and women over the past year.

The survey is based on travel data from 90 EliteVoyage clients who took trips between September 2023 and September 2024 and who belong to the categories of Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWIs) and High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs) — that is, individuals with a net worth of at least 30 million USD or 1 million USD, respectively.

The report answers questions such as which travel services high-end travellers are most interested in, what destinations are most popular among them, and presents a selection of the top 20 favourite hotels of the wealthiest travellers. It also names their favourite restaurants around the world. The report includes insights into current luxury travel trends and data on average prices for accommodation and transportation, whether by commercial airlines or private jets. An equally important part of the report focuses on sustainability in luxury travel, which is becoming an increasingly important factor in holiday decision-making — especially for younger clients.

The Luxury Travel Report 2024 was published in both print and digital formats. The digital version was distributed via newsletter to EliteVoyage clients and partners. The media were introduced to the report at the beginning of December 2024 during an afternoon tea event at the Four Seasons Hotel in Prague. According to media monitoring results, information about the report reached 2,599,909 people.

How the Wealthiest Czechs Travel 2023

In the autumn of 2023, we carried out the first edition of a survey on how the wealthiest Czechs travel — the Luxury Travel Report 2023. It was the first more comprehensive effort to gather data on the travel habits of the richest Czech men and women. The report, published by the travel agency EliteVoyage, spans 19 pages and describes how the wealthiest Czechs travelled during the 2022–2023 period.

It answers questions about which travel services are in demand among wealthy Czech clients, highlights the ten most common destinations, and breaks down the popularity of other locations by season. It also covers topics such as family travel, city tourism, and nature-focused getaways. The report does not overlook the economic aspects of luxury travel either — it includes information on average prices for accommodation, airline tickets, and private jet travel. It also brings insights into luxury travel trends abroad, featuring data provided by the consulting firm Barton.

Our strategy was to introduce engaging and relevant travel data about the wealthiest Czechs into the Czech media space — data that had never been published at this scale or depth before. The primary goal was to attract the attention of Czech journalists and, through the report, build awareness of the EliteVoyage brand among readers. In the long run, we aimed to strengthen the perception of EliteVoyage as an expert in tailor-made luxury travel. A dedicated chapter of the report focused on the issue of sustainable travel — a topic that domestic clients may not yet prioritize, but which we believe is a natural part of personalized travel experiences. We also included a section about the personal profiles of the travellers themselves, offering insights into their professions and other interests beyond travel.
